Connecticut’s Coastal Haven
If you’re looking for quaint, cute, simple, and right by the water in Connecticut, then I highly recommend what I like to call Connecticut’s Coastal Haven. It’s an AirBnB home that is located right off Beach Street in West Haven, CT. Connecticut’s Coastal Haven best suits 3 guests. It is on the smaller side providing only 2 beds and 1 bath, but I found it to be perfect for our little family and our short stay in West Haven, CT.
It’s a two-story home. We had access to the upstairs. The guests staying on the first floor were very nice and did not bother us. I felt very safe staying here with my two kids. The neighborhood was quiet at all times. The hostess was very accommodating and provided all the necessities we could possibly need. There was a small kitchen with a coffee pot, refrigerator, stove and all the plates/silverware needed to prepare our own meals, if I chose to. I also loved the easy access to Sea Bluff Beach and the sunsets off the coast were breathtaking.
Sea Bluff Beach we found to be the perfect getaway for one of our days in West Haven, CT. I highly recommend visiting this beach if you’re in the area. There’s something about staying right off the coast of Connecticut that felt so peaceful.
Sneak Peek Inside Connecticut’s Coastal Haven
Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is 11 am. This was perfect noting that this was just a short stay for us before we continued on our road trip to Maine. Since we were arriving with a 3 pm check-in, we stopped over to visit the Gillette Castle first which is approximately one hour from West Haven, CT. To my surprise, Connecticut’s Coastal Haven is just 15 minutes from Yale University in New Haven, CT. We had to drive by just to see for ourselves. 🙂
